New works in collage continue an ongoing exploration of composition, appropriation and juxtaposition derived from the unplanned nature of being a passer-by, personal travel photographs and chance selections from second hand books.
Motifs appear in positive and negative silhouettes, stencilled, dissected, removed and rotated whilst kaleidoscopic configurations take audiences on visually complex detours to trace imagery back to their original state.
Presented in grid like formations, the artist allows for works in series to manifest into new frames where associations between neighbouring aesthetics feed individual interpretation when challenging which dominant visual takes narrative lead.
